2007 National Volunteers of the Year

Dave and Gwen Fuehring from Maryland Heights, MO are our 2007 National Volunteers of the Year. American Hiking thanks them for their outstanding contributions to hiking trails, the Ozark Trail Association and American Hiking Society. Mr. and Mrs. Fuehring, also the Central States regional winners, stood out for their work clearing a trail hit very hard by severe storms throughout 2006.
