Celebrate National Trails Day by helping Lake Whitney State Park staff to complete a trail rehabilitation project on the Two Bridges Trail.  The project will involve clearing brush, installing directional signs, constructing a bicycle ramp, installing a wayside interpretive panel, completing bridge maintenance and installing water bars or sways to preserve the tread.  Meet at the Two Bridges Trail parking area.

Working on the Two Bridges Trail Rehabilitation Project is a great way to be of service to your community, spend quality time with family and friends and get some exercise with like-minded people.  The work that is completed will help ensure professional trail standards and a quality trail experience for park visitors, and your contributions ensure that you leave a legacy behind at Lake Whitney State Park.

Free entrance permits are available for National Trails Day event volunteers at Park Headquarters.
