Join us for a day of construction/maintenance on the historic Iron Goat Trail in the Cascade Mountains of Washington State

Hosting Individual or Organization Name: Volunteers for Outdoor Washington

Trail Name: Iron Goat Trail

Special Directions to Site: Take US Hy. 2 to MP 55. Turn north onto FS RD. #67 (Old Cascade Highway). Drive 2.4 miles to FS RD #6710. Turn north and drive 1.4 miles to the Martin Creek Trailhead

Activity 1: Stewardship/Trail Project

Activity 1 Mileage Maintained: 10

Activity 1 Special Instructions: Activity consists of a mix of trail maintenance on existing trail and construction of new trail. some work will be in the Wild Sky Wilderness. Work difficulty ranges from moderate to strenuous. Participants must have sturdy boots and gloves.There will be a free hotdog/hamburger cookout after the work party.
