Most of our work will be brushing trails. No horses needed as we can drive to the work sites. Dress appropriately for the weather, but no shorts allowed. Bring gloves, water and your favorite tools for cutting limbs. We will have additional tools on site. Sign in on both the Pilchuck Tree Farm hold harmless agreement and the hours log with your miles traveled to this site and time in travel.
Lunch will be provided for all who tell me before Thursday May 30th that you are coming.

Special Directions to Site: From I 5 take exit 215 (the next exit north of the Stanwood exit) and turn east on 300th Street NW (Freeborn Rd). Travel about .9mi to a left turn onto English Grade Rd. Travel about 1.2 mi to a right turn onto 316th St NW. Go about .8 mi to the entrance at the top of the hill which is a gravel road on your left that travels north to the parking area on your left. Activity 1 Special Instructions: Activity: This is trail repair. Bring you favorite pruners or loppers to cut limbs and brush along the trails. This is a commercial tree farm that graciously allows public use of extensive miles of its trail system. Be careful to not damage young fir trees. Limbs on young trees may be removed up to one half way from the ground to the top of the tree. Work will begin at 9:30 AM. Lunch will be provided to all who pre-register by May 30.
